Rate model: max(1, floor(global betting-mint DXB / 1M)) $/DXB at each bet's timestamp. Per-bet rates use Dexbet's actual on-chain mint history indexed nightly into KV via the /api/dxb/timeline endpoint (current + legacy treasury). Variance = actual minted − expected at the resulting per-bet rate.
Wager classifier: plain Transfer (any asset), SmartContract calls targeting Dexbet, MultiTransfer legs to Dexbet. Per-asset USD via CoinGecko slug then per-asset fallback; unpriced assets are visible in the breakdown but excluded from variance math.
